We offer professional support for Checkmk and the Cmdbsyncer. As experts in automation, we can automate every aspect of Checkmk from installation to host and rule lifecycle. We also develop all kinds of extensions for Checkmk, the Cmdbsyncer and API backends.
We support small to huge Checkmk installations and, as ex-Checkmk employees, have in-depth knowledge of the product for every project requirement.
As a consultant, software developer and trainer for Checkmk and automation, I advise on every need in Checkmk. In over 15 years, I have designed and implemented Checkmk for countless companies. Since 2018 I have been supporting several large customers with all problems and updates in their Checkmk installation. A growing number of my customers have automated Checkmk with my open-source Cmdbsyncer.
As Head of Development and Senior Software Architect, I designed customer-specific web applications and developed their API backends. These were not static websites, but complex systems for customer loyalty through engagement and reward opportunities and interfaces to other providers (e.g. DHL, Playable, Arvato) or, for example, a system for managing test drives of an event for a car manufacturer, which involved availability and utilization for drivers and vehicles so that they could be displayed on different booking pages and social media. These are just two examples.
As one of the first employees at Checkmk GmbH (then still Mathis Kettner GmbH), I was the first consultant to introduce Checkmk to many customers, conducted training courses for developers and advanced users and trained the first Checkmk partners.
As part of the Checkmk introduction, I developed numerous checks directly at customer sites and made adjustments to Checkmk.
As an IT specialist in the higher civil service, I was responsible for the development of various systems and creative problem solving for unusual applications.
As an IT expert in 3rd level support, I classified hardware problems and planned technician assignments.
IBM provided a comprehensive picture of IT during the IT specialist training. The curriculum covered everything from software development and hardware to presentations and schools.
